This route became extremely popular amongst motorcycle riders, due to its never-ending twists and turns (twisties), as well as gorgeous views of canyons, hills, and valley terrain.

If you know Texas, you know they have plenty of great places to eat. The Three Twisted Sisters is no exception to this. Here are a few of the best places to eat on your next Twisted Sisters exploration. 

  • The Chuck Wagon: Hwy 16. This restaurant offers comfort food and is known for its amazing burgers. This place is loved by riders and has 5 stars on Google. 
  • Bent Rim Grill: 657 Ranch Rd 337 W. This is a biker-themed restaurant right next to Frio Canyon Motorcycle Shop. Everything about this place is all about bikers–even the burgers have biker names. Beyond lunch, they also serve up some traditional breakfast. 
  • Keese’s Bar-B-Que: 13869 TX-16. This family-owned restaurant offers some of the best BBQ on the Twisted Sisters route. 

Best Places To Lodge In Three Twisted Sisters

There are a ton of places to lodge around the Three Twisted Sisters area, and they are all (for the most part) very accommodating to motorcycle enthusiasts. 

  • Frio Pecan Farm: 144 Ranch Rd, Leakey TX. This farm is a great place to stop, rest and explore. This farm offers a nice view of all the pecan orchards.
  • Historic Leakey Inn: 527 S. Hwy. 83, Leakey, TX. This history lodging place rests right in the heart of Leakey and offers riders a nice place to stay after a long day of twists and turns. 
  • Foxfire Log Cabins: 117 Olsen Ranch Road, Vanderpool, TX. The Foxfire Log Cabins is a family-owned and operated lodging spot, that is a little hidden. The cabins are cozy and comfortable, however, there is a small amount of cell reception available–this makes it the perfect place to unplug, unwind and relax.
